I didn't post last night - I was too shocked at the devastation in Toowoomba. This link was the first I saw and there is so much other video footage and photos on the internet.
The thunderstorms, torrential rain and small landslides in our area are nothing compared to what people in Toowoomba, Lockyer Valley are surrounding areas have suffered.
There are now warnings of serious flooding in the Ipswich area and Brisbane.
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who is suffering from this extreme event. Let us not forget those battling bushfires on the other side of the country, south of Perth.
